Gamma Theta Initiation and Orange and Blue BBQ

Brothers,

Hope everyone has been well these past few weeks. I just wanted to remind everyone that upcoming beginning on April 4, 2010, the Spring 2010 Pledge Class will begin their I-Week. On Friday, April 9 the pledges will be taken out to the Pits to begin the ceremonies of Initiation. As many of you know this is one of the most meaningful nights of I-week, and it only makes it more meaningful when the pledges see several different alumni coming out to help and observe this night, allowing them to realize the importance of this week. We will be leaving the house around 9 pm, and should be off of the property around 11 pm. The next morning Initiation will begin around 7 am, and finish around 9-930 am. You are all welcome and encouraged to attend either or both of these events, and following Initiation there will be a breakfast and BBQ for both the new pledge class and the Orange and Blue Spring Gator Game on April 10. This should be a very fun weekend both celebrating the Initiation of our new Spring 2010 pledge class along with the first Gator game of the 2010 season. E-mail me back with any questions or concerns regarding these events, and I hope to see all of you there.

Save the Date Gamma Theta Chapter of Sigma Chi Alumni BBQ and Initiation

Brothers,

Just a final update on the Gamma Theta Sigma Chi Derby Days for 2010. Our final number was around $31,000 making us the top philanthropy on campus among fraternities. Also, we have a few events coming up in the month of April including Initiation on April 9-10 and the Orange and Blue annual Gator Football Game on that Saturday. Everyone is welcome to come out to the pits on Friday night, April 9, to see the start of the Ritual among the Spring 2010 pledge class, as all of you know how important this night is. The following morning will conclude the ceremonies of Initiation, and we will be holding a BBQ at the house prepared by our chef. Several alumni, including Jeff Danzy will be in attendance, and it would be a pleasure to see all of you here. Thank you and you can e-mail me with any questions at sigmachigator@gmail.com.
